ART POLITIQUEMENT ENGAG - POLITISCHE ENGAGIERT KŠNST:
Installation at Sculture Center, New York, (2007) including documentation of DOMESTIC AFFAIRS, and silk-screened posters from event, spraypainted on top of mural and hung on wall.
Spraypaint, painted mural on top of wall-pasted publications and invites from lesser new york and Herd Instinct 360. One part of a diptych photograph by Eileen Quinlan was hung to the right and to the left a poster superimposing and layering the logo of the sculpture center to illegibility. Below this wall were a stack of the second edition of Herd Instinct 360 publication on top, used as a plinth for clenched fists in clay, which continued up on top the vitrine, over OSX CDs and the Lion King posters to the right.
The vitrine consisted of the cover and blank pages of the canadian magazine Intervention 17, with Artforum March 2006 Christopher Williams cover, a small poster from the Lion King and a CD of the operating system OSX Tiger version.
A wall paper made of drawings of Picasso's peace dove. A photograph by Roe Ethridge of Disney actor doves. An axe next to the fire emergency kit of the building.
